Feast of all Saints and Commemoration of all the faithful departed

At the end of our Catholic creed, we profess: I believe in the Communion of saints, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life (Apostles' Creed).

Three truths that stem from our Trinitarian and Christocentric faith. By our baptism we participate in the divine life of Christ who made us his brothers and sons of God... That is why our life does not end when we stop breathing since we are heirs of the eternal homeland.

The spiritual goods of some members of the Church are communicated to others forming a common fund for the benefit of all. The smallest of our acts, done with charity, has repercussions for the benefit of all; as well as our prayers, in solidarity between the baptized, living or dead... Some of us are still pilgrims on this earth, others, now deceased, are purified; while many are already enjoying the glory of God in the Celestial Kingdom.

All united in one Church: the triumphant, the purgatives and the pilgrims. The living pray for the dead and the saints intercede for us.

Let us live these days of November strengthening our faith in God, our hope in the life to come, praying for our deceased relatives and practicing charity as did the saints who precede us in heaven. Love.

Fr. Claudio
