The hope of a new earth and a new heaven that the Apocalypse presents in the image of the New Jerusalem descending in splendor like a bride, is only possible thanks to the living and putting into practice of the New Commandment of Love received from Christ in the intimacy of The Last Supper.
Fraternal love in the style of Christ must be the basis and norm of coexistence of the New People of God and of each Christian community. And it is also the goal of all apostolic work and the mission of the Church. And, as a consequence, love will be the driving force that leads us to overcome the vicissitudes and setbacks involved in bearing witness to the Risen One, the one who makes all things new.
