LORD, INCREASE OUR FAITH.
The prophet Habakkuk raises a desperate cry to heaven, against the injustices and sufferings that he suffers, along with all the people of God. And even if the answer is long in coming, he can be sure that God will fulfill his promise to save them, to free them from oppressive and unjust hands. ´ “The rash one has no integrity; but the just one, because of his faith, shall live.".
However, to expect that effective response from God, we need to have faith, no matter how small it could be. May we trust in his word, in his mercy. And just like the disciples, we too must ask for an increase in our faith, and at the same time fulfill the mission that has been entrusted to us.
