Catechizing is the task that we assume from the day of our baptism. Our experience that we have had of the love of God, being born and growing up in a Christian family and being part of the Church of Christ, leads us naturally and spontaneously to want to share our faith and give reason for our hope.
The sacrament of Confirmation has empowered us to do this. With the anointing of the Holy Chrism we are instruments of the Holy Spirit to carry out the command of Christ: “Go and teach all creatures, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (Mt 28:19) .
Happy and excited to collaborate in this mission, with God's favor and asking for his blessing, the team of catechists is already preparing to begin a new catechism course for children, young people and adults. As a community, let us all support this work with our prayer and Christian solidarity. Let us also value and thank you for your generous and selfless delivery. Because catechizing is everyone's mission.
