In the ecclesial community, there are a diversity of services, functions, and activities to perform, according to the same configuration and needs of the local Church. This gives rise to the different ecclesial ministries. Ministry means service and all the baptized are called and invited to collaborate in one or more ministries, to put their gifts and talents received from God at the service of others. Thus, the family of the children of God grows and lives as an organic and harmonious body, it is the mystical body of Christ, whose soul is the Holy Spirit.
The Cathedral of San Mateo opens its doors so that the believer can perform in this vocation, through different services, in which they can make their gifts available to others, donate their time, share their Faith, and bear witness to Christ whom He did not come to be served, but to serve.
These are the ministries of the Cathedral of San Mateo: Catechists, Youth Group, Quinceañeras, Marriage Group, Liturgical Setting, Acolytes, Lectors, Monitors, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Music, and Choir Ministry, Prayer and Praise Group, Ushers, Theater group, Dance group, Pastoral of social assistance, etc.
Integrate freely, voluntarily, and generously in one of these ministries. It is quite easy; you just need a lot of desire to serve and address one of our Priests.
