Prayer is an essential part of our Christian identity. Through prayer we maintain communion with God and with our brothers. Jesus himself has left us this task when he said: “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14:12-14)
The prayer group continues its mission to pray for St. Matthew's Church. The sick offer their pain and suffering for each of the ministries. The pandemic brought us closer together as a group that prayed for each other and for the entire world. And now we can participate some Sundays after the 10:00 am mass, in the chapel of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
