We culminate the Easter celebrations with the feast of Pentecost, fifty days after the Resurrection of Christ.
The Church renews at Pentecost her evangelizing and missionary vocation. Enriched with the ability to announce "the wonders of God" that "each one heard in his own language" (cf. Acts 2,6b); and with a diversity of gifts, services and functions with which "The Spirit is manifested for the common good" (cf. 1Cor 12,7), strengthened with the peace of the Risen One and apostolic joy, as gifts of the Spirit, it must continue being a sign of forgiveness in today's world to testify that the Father loves humanity and wants their salvation.
