What does CONVERSION mean?

P. Claudio

We are a few days away from the beginning of Lent Season, which prepares us for the celebration of Christ's Easter and must culminate in the renewal of our baptismal life. That is, year after year, we have the opportunity to improve our Christian life through meditation and celebration of the mysteries of Christ: his passion, his death and his resurrection.

For this, the Church invites us to a continuous conversion, to change the step and direction of our lives and reorient it towards Christ and his Gospel through the Lenten process.

Listening to his Word, prayer and the practice of good works in favor of our brothers must modify our feelings and our way of thinking, to die to sin and rise again in Christ as new men and women, purified by his blood and vivified by his Holy Spirit.
