Advent, a time of waiting and vigilance, strongly summons us to prepare the way of the Lord who is approaching to share history and destiny with all of us.
Today we live the happy coincidence that the Second Sunday of Advent is presided over by the shining figure of Mary, in her invocation of the Immaculate Conception.
From her always comes the same invitation: "Do whatever He tells you."
Today the Lord Jesus Christ speaks to us through her. He wants us too to be free from all evil, ready to collaborate in God's plan. May we seek the beauty, harmony and luminosity that radiates Mary, the One Full of Grace. May we sing like her the Mercy of the Lord and be grateful for her wonders. May we listen to the Word of God and put it into practice.
