The liturgy of this Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time presents us with a fundamental teaching about the Christian life: the beatitude of those who trust in the Lord and the warning to those who put their security in the world.
The readings from God's Word invite us to examine in what or in whom we are placing our trust or our security... what path we are following in our life.
Because the Lord is the only one who can give us true and lasting happiness. Not momentary and temporary. Christ is our hope to rise from the dead and live to the fullest.
